MY CHARGE AS AN EVANGELIST IN EVERY POST . . . 

“I solemnly charge you as one who is living in the presence of our God, even Christ Jesus, the One who is on the point of judging the living and the dead, I solemnly charge you as not only living in His presence, but also by His appearing and His kingdom; make a public proclamation of the Word with such formality, gravity, and authority as must be heeded. Hold yourself in readiness for this proclamation when opportunity presents itself and when it does not; reprove so as to bring forth conviction and confession of guilt; rebuke sharply, severely, and with a suggestion of impending penalty. Pleadingly exhort, doing all this with that utmost self-restraint which does not hastily retaliate a wrong, and accompany this exhortation with the most painstaking instruction . . .” (2 Timothy 4:1-2)(Bold added)(Italics added)

FIFTH STEP: “WE ADMITTED TO GOD, OURSELVES AND TO ANOTHER HUMAN BEING THE EXACT NATURE OF YOUR WRONGS.”

After writing and detailing a daunting “Fourth Step,” you need to openly express the details of your pain; the onset, before the drugs began, the traumatic moment that made you resort to drugs because you could not cope with the onset of that traumatic moment of pain effectively.  Once the pain perpetuated, you pushed it down, not wanting to revisit it, not wanting to remember, not wanting to recognize it, who or where it came from.  But, the one thing you held on to was the violation; the fact that it was done against your will, you didn’t want it, you did not invite it, you even said no to it, but the violation kept coming until it overtook you.  You became powerless and you couldn’t fight back hard enough, strong enough, long enough; you were overtaken by the violation.  It doesn’t mean you wanted it!  Oh no, not at all!  You did not solicit it!  You did not encourage it!  In fact, you did absolutely nothing besides being present.  Know this, if it wasn’t you, it would have been the next person present.  Why?  Because Satan roams the earth, searching to and fro, seeking someone, anyone to devour! 

EXAMPLE: SATAN ROAMING THE EARTH . . . 

The LORD said to Satan, “From where do you come?” Then Satan answered the LORD and said, “From roaming about on the earth and walking around on it.”(Job 1:7)

The difference is, while you were writing your “Fourth Step” you were instructed to pray each time before you put pen to paper.  Consequently, you would have already shared your Step Work with God.  However, you need God to be in your step work because He is the only one that can extend the mercy you need.

WHAT DOES GOD’s WORD SAY? . . .

GREATER IS HE THAT’S IN YOU, THAN HE THAT’S IN THE WORLD . . .

“Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded permission to sift you like wheat; but I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail . . .” (Luke 22:31)

JESUS’ LOVE IS UNCONDITIONAL . . .

“. . . In His love and in His mercy He redeemed them . . .” (Isaiah 63:9)

CONFESS YOUR SINS ONE TO ANOTHER . . .

“Moreover, if your brother should commit an act of sin, be going, show him his sin with a view to convicting him of it and bringing about a confession between you and him alone. If he hears you, you won your brother over. “(Matthew 18:15)(Bold added)

CONFESS AND SIN NO MORE . . .

“What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?”(Romans 6:1-2)

EVERYTHING THAT YOU SAID, THOUGHT AND DONE; EVEN YOUR INTENTIONS ARE LAID BARE BEFORE THE LORD . . . 

“And there is not a thing created which is hidden from His sight. But all things are naked and laid bare to His eyes, to whom we must give account.” (Hebrews 4:13)(Bold added)

HE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN CLEANSE YOU FROM UNRIGHTEOUSNESS . . . 

“If we continue to confess our sins, faithful is He and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from every unrighteousness.”(1 John 1:9)(Bold added)

Rape: unlawful sexual activity and usually sexual intercourse carried out forcibly or under threat of injury against a person’s will or with a person who is beneath a certain age or incapable of valid consent because of mental illness, mental deficiency, intoxication, unconsciousness, or deception 

ARE  YOU ADDICTED TO DRUGS?

Addiction: a compulsive, chronic, physiological or psychological need for a habit-forming substance, behavior, or activity having harmful physical, psychological, or social effects and typically causing well-defined symptoms (such as anxiety, irritability, tremors, or nausea) upon withdrawal or abstinence.

ARE YOU ADDICTED TO SOMETHING ELSE?

Addiction: a strong inclination to do, use, or indulge in something repeatedly (i.e. rape, molestation, sexual harassment, pornography, masturbation, etc.).

“French Catholic clergy sexually abused some 216,000 minors from 1950 to 2020, a ‘massive phenomenon’ that was covered up for decades by a ‘veil of silence,’ an independent commission stated on Oct. 5, 2021. The commission’s two and a half year investigation was prompted by outrage over abuse claims and prosecutions against Church officials worldwide,” Agence France-Press reported.”

“The Catholic Church had shown ‘deep, total and even cruel indifference for years,’ protecting itself rather than the victims of what was systemic abuse, said Jean-Marc Sauve, head of the commission that compiled the report,” according to Reuters.”(Bold added)

“Pope Francis was asked to comment about this report during the press conference held on Dec. 6 during the flight from Greece back to Rome. He responded with cruel indifference: “When doing these studies … there is a risk of confusing the way you perceive the problem of a time period 70 years before. I just want to say this as a principle: A historical situation should be interpreted with the [knowledge] of the time, not ours. For example, the cover-up is the way that is used unfortunately in families, even today, in a large number of families, and in neighborhoods. We say, no, this covering up is not the way to go.”(Bold added)

“Pope Francis ignored that the report extended to 2020 and that “most victims don’t come forward for many years due to the emotional trauma, health problems and social pressures,” as explained by Barbara Dorris, outreach director for Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests (SNAP). In fact, “the average age at the time of reporting child sex abuse was about 52 years” according to Child USA the national think tank for child protection.”(Bold added)

“After almost nine years in office, Pope Francis should have known better. Since then, there have been dozens more including the very lengthy and thorough reports by UN Committee on the Rights of the Child, the UN Committee Against Torture – which found that the widespread sexual violence within the Catholic Church amounted to torture and cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment –(Bold added)

“Australia’s Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse and the Pennsylvania Grand Jury Report.”

“Not only do these reports confirm that it takes decades for victims to report their abuse, but also that Pope Francis should hold those bishop’s accountable who covered-up the sexual torture of children.”

“The Rev. John Asare-Dankwah has denied allegations that he raped an underage boy 13 years ago, a claim that prompted the Archdiocese of New Orleans to suspend him from his role as pastor of Treme’s historic St. Peter Claver Catholic Church.”(Bold added)

“Asare-Dankwah issued his denial in a statement Thursday, a day after a lawsuit was filed in Orleans Parish Civil District Court accusing him of raping a 10-year-old boy while hearing his confession during a weeklong retreat in Alabama in 2008.”

“I am deeply saddened and appalled by the allegations,” the statement read. “These allegations are false. I have never harmed anyone in my service to God — particularly any child — and I am prepared to fight vigorously to clear my name that I’ve worked for nearly three decades building trust as a man of God.”(Bold added)

“LAWYER OF PRIEST ACCUSED OF RAPING A MINOR HAS RESIGNED—HE HID INFORMATION FROM ME”

THEIR STUPID HEART WAS DARKENED . . 

“Because, knowing God, not as God did they glorify Him, nor were they grateful, but they became futile in their reasonings, and their stupid heart was darkened. Asserting themselves to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for a likeness of an image of corruptible man and of birds and or quadrupeds and of snakes.”(Romans 1:21-23)

YOU HAVE MADE FOR YOURSELF AN IDLE . . . YOUR OWN PENIS

THEY WORSHIPPED AND RENDERED RELIGIOUS SERVICE TO THE CREATION RATHER THAN THE CREATOR . . .

But if he does not hear you, take with you one or two besides, in order that upon the basis of the mouth of two witnesses or three, every word may be established.  And if he is unwilling to hear them, tell the assembly. And if he also is unwilling to hear the assembly, let him be to you as the pagan Gentile and the tax collector.”(Matthew 18:15-17)

JESUS HAS THE POWER TO CASTS THESE DEMONS OUT . . .

“And Jesus rebuked him, the rebuke not resulting in any conviction or confession of sin, saying, Shut your mouth and come out of him at once.” (Mark 1:25)

JESUS IS CALLING YOU . . . REPENT!!!

“ . . . for actively alive is the word of God, and energetic, and sharper than any two-edged sword, going through even to the dividing of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a sifter and analyzer of the reflectionsand conceptions of the heart. And there is not a thing created which is hidden from His sight. But all things are naked and laid bare to His eyes, to whom we must give account. Having therefore a High Priest, a great One, One who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us be holding fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who is not able to enter experientially into a fellow feeling with our infirmities, but one who has been tempted and tested in all points like as we are, without sin. Let us be coming therefore with boldness to the throne of grace, in order that we may procure mercy and find grace for seasonable help.”(Hebrews 4:12-16)(Bold added)(Italics added)

CONFESSION OF FAITH; SALVATION . . .

“This is the word of the Faith which we are proclaiming. If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from among the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart faith is exercised resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. For the scripture says, Everyone who believes on Him shall not be put to shame.” (Romans 10:8-11)

BE BAPTIZED ON THE GROUND OF YOUR CONFESSION . . . 

“And Peter said to them, Have a change of mind, that change of mind being accompanied by abhorrence of and sorrow for your deed, and let each one of you be baptized upon the ground of your confession of belief in the sum total of all that Jesus Christ is in His glorious Person, this baptismal testimony being in relation to the fact that your sins have been put away, and you shall receive the gratuitous gift of the Holy Spirit, for to you is the promise and to your children and to all who are at a distance, as many as the Lord our God shall with a divine summons call to himself.”(Acts 2:38-39)(Bold added)

“For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only this, but we also exult in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.”(Romans 5:6-11)

“Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned— for until the Law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those who had not sinned in the likeness of the offense of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come.” (Romans 5:12-14)

“But the free gift is not like the transgression. For if by the transgression of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many. The gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned; for on the one hand the judgment arose from one transgression resulting in condemnation, but on the other hand the free gift arose from many transgressions resulting in justification. For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.” (Romans 5:15-17)

“So then as through one transgression there resulted condemnation to all men, even so through one act of righteousness there resulted justification of life to all men. For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous. The Law came in so that the transgression would increase; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, so that, as sin reigned in death, even so grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”(Romans 5:18-21)

CONCLUSION. . .

“Be becoming therefore imitators of God, as children beloved, and be ordering your behavior within the sphere of love, even as Christ also loved you and gave himself up in our behalf and in our stead as an offering and a sacrifice to God for an aroma of a sweet smell. But fornication and uncleanness, every kind of it, or covetousness, let it not be even named among you, just as it is befitting to saints, and obscenity and foolish talking or ribaldry, which things have not been seemly or fitting, but rather giving of thanks, for this you know absolutely and experientially, that every whoremonger or unclean person or covetous person, who is an idolator, does not have an inheritance in the kingdom of the Christ and of God.” (Ephesians 5:1-5)(Bold added)

“Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is the slave of sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son does remain forever. So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.” (John 8:34-36)        

The invitation to Christ and what you need to do was already spelled out above beginning with Hebrews 4:12-16 to the last paragraph.
